Made from natural cork granules mixed with nylon. Birko-Cork is porous,
lightweight, flexible, and thermopliable. It is economical in use, since leftovers from
one job can be kneaded together for future use. Heat to 175°F, it becomes pliable but not sticky.
Heat to 212°F, it becomes slightly sticky and is good for molding. Heat to 250°F, it becomes sticky
and is excellent for molding and adheres
well to other materials.

A traditional blend of EVA and cork. JMS Bio-Kork is Shore A ±
5, vacuum formable and easy to grind.
Processing Information:
Cushion Cork and Rubber Cork are not heat moldable.
Thermocork is heat moldable at 170 deg. F. until material is soft.
Birko-Cork heating instructions are as follows:
Heat at 174 deg. F - Birko-Cork becomes pliable, but not sticky
Heat at 212 deg. F. - Birko-Cork becomes slightly sticky, good for molding
Heat at 250 deg. F. - Birko-Cork becomes sticky, excellent for molding, adheres well to other materials.
JMS Bio-Kork is heat moldable at 300 deg. F.
