SYNTHETIC TUBULAR SOCKS Description: The Synthetic Tubular Sock is a stretchy, fiberglass knit material with polyurethane resin. When exposed to water, it causes the molding material to become rigid. Finished molds are strong, lightweight, and replicate the foot extremely well. The Synthetic Tubular Sock is intended for making Afro, Foot, and BK Impressions. It is a quick, clean alternative to conventional approaches to casting. It can also be used as a rigid external dressing or as a temporary splint. For KAFO's, a 17" and a 30" sock can be used. Simply cut the toe out of the 17" sock and overlap the 30" sock.
